Blogger Alert! Why I Should Be A FROW Blogger At The Look Show AW11!!!!!!!!

At the risk of sounding mildly dramatic, I was practically in tears for weeks when I wasn’t chosen for the last comp. I thought I’d be well in there, however, it wasn’t meant to be, and this time I figured that ‘if first you don’t succeed…’

So on this occasion, I still believe blogging for a magazine which I love to read would be more than orgasmic, and the want has increased – would you believe - after visiting London Fashion Weekend earlier this year.

I am more than certain that the experience to be on FROW, blog from FROW, see all the latest fashion trends from FROW, would be more than my little heart could take, but I more than willing to give it a go, if you guys and Look towers would be so gracious as to let me loose at the The Look Show.

So until then, I’ll wait with baited breath for your reply…

Daphne Guinness Window Dress Up

So everyone's been ooing and arring about the Met Ball and its wonderful tribute to Alexander McQueen, but Daphne Guinness own tribute really took the biscuit for me.

The Guinness heiress got dressed in the shop window of Barney's in New York, and as if that wasn't shocking enough, she only wore Sarah Burtons finishing gown from Alexander McQueen AW11 show.

Take a look...

Kate's dress - lovely but...

Even I thought I was all 'Royal Wedding' out, but something in me decided to tune in and I thoroughly enjoyed what I saw- The royal love, the VIP and of course the fashion.

So people were right about Kate Middleton's dress - it was designed by Sarah Burton and her team at Alexander McQueen.

I thought Kate looked lovely, but i secretly wanted more. Not gypsy wedding esq, but a little bit more than what i saw...

As for the deets, the bodice and skirt lace were handmade by The Royal School of Needlework, while the dress was made out of ivory and white satin gazer. The Skirt was made to resemble a open flower and had a eight foot trail which i loved.

I'd give the dress a solid 7 1/2 out of 10 - she was glowing and looked classic but i wanted a touch more.

However, her sister piper - LOVED her dress. Which is funny because the dress was so simple.

Finger Toes Trainers?

I saw these on graziadaily.co.uk and felt that I had to comment. How should I put this delicately? These finger-like -toes -like trainers are hidious - sorry! Surely your toes must feel funny inside of them, and I know going running or training is not necessarily a fashion statement debut, but by jove, these are something else!

These little 'gems' are known as Vibram Fivefingers were spotted on Scarlett Johansson's feet while running with her 'new beau' Sean Penn

Would you rock these? Be honest!

Triumph Finale - Stunning

Triumph Inspiration Awards

I've just come back from the extremely sexy and inventive finale of the lingerie inspired Triumph Inspiration Awards (TIA) at a private and yet exquisite venue.

This annual global competition allows the talented students of London College of Fashion and De Monfort University to create couture style lingerie.

The theme for the years event was in celebration of women in the last 125 years and boy was it done with conviction. Host to the event was the ever flamboyant, Immodesty Blaze, accompanied by panelists including stylist, Charlotte Stockdale, Grazia's Online Editor Angela Buttolph, Felder Felder and Jameela Jamil.

There were 20 entrance in the finale, but here are my some of my favourites...

Sara Caspi : Fever Pitch

Chloe King: The Silhouette of Ascendancy

And by far my favourite and indeed the winner of the night is Emma Walters called Liberation - a worthy winner.

T4 Presenter, Jameela Jamil announcing the winner. I have to say Jameela looks nice on TV but she's stunning in the flesh.

Here's the ever lovely Jameela hugging the winner of this years TIA - lovely.

Oh i can't lie, the red velvet cake and champaigne in my bag went a long way.

Lucy In Disguise

Lily Allen and Sarah Owen

Awww my Tuesday pleasure - Lily Allen: From Riches to Rags - has now finished. I think they should so another one, called "6 months in..."

The programme did its job in my book. It was entertaining and had me interested enough to want to make a visit to the shop and embrace the whole Lucy experience. Who knows, I might even buy something, or maybe I should start with the renting option.

Apparently, around the June period, you'll be able to purchase on the Lucy In Disguise website, but until then, have gander at the blogs and mini vintage like movie on entry to the website.

Even Kylie Minogue is falling ahead over heels for the Lucy vintage pieces - maybe we should follow suit.

Special Miss Dior Cherie

In my Grazia this morning I came accross this...

Christian Dior have been promoting their fragrance, Miss Dior Cherie for a little while now. Not only do Dior have Oscar winner, Natalie Portman, heading their campaign, but the label even has special packaging for the perfume samples down to a fine art.

Cherie samples can be found in magazines designed as an inviation with a bow - how cute is that?

You can always depend on Dior to keep pushing the bar on presentation.
