Triumph Finale - Stunning

Triumph Inspiration Awards

I've just come back from the extremely sexy and inventive finale of the lingerie inspired Triumph Inspiration Awards (TIA) at a private and yet exquisite venue.

This annual global competition allows the talented students of London College of Fashion and De Monfort University to create couture style lingerie.

The theme for the years event was in celebration of women in the last 125 years and boy was it done with conviction. Host to the event was the ever flamboyant, Immodesty Blaze, accompanied by panelists including stylist, Charlotte Stockdale, Grazia's Online Editor Angela Buttolph, Felder Felder and Jameela Jamil.

There were 20 entrance in the finale, but here are my some of my favourites...

Sara Caspi : Fever Pitch

Chloe King: The Silhouette of Ascendancy

And by far my favourite and indeed the winner of the night is Emma Walters called Liberation - a worthy winner.

T4 Presenter, Jameela Jamil announcing the winner. I have to say Jameela looks nice on TV but she's stunning in the flesh.

Here's the ever lovely Jameela hugging the winner of this years TIA - lovely.

Oh i can't lie, the red velvet cake and champaigne in my bag went a long way.

Lucy In Disguise

Lily Allen and Sarah Owen

Awww my Tuesday pleasure - Lily Allen: From Riches to Rags - has now finished. I think they should so another one, called "6 months in..."

The programme did its job in my book. It was entertaining and had me interested enough to want to make a visit to the shop and embrace the whole Lucy experience. Who knows, I might even buy something, or maybe I should start with the renting option.

Apparently, around the June period, you'll be able to purchase on the Lucy In Disguise website, but until then, have gander at the blogs and mini vintage like movie on entry to the website.

Even Kylie Minogue is falling ahead over heels for the Lucy vintage pieces - maybe we should follow suit.

Special Miss Dior Cherie

In my Grazia this morning I came accross this...

Christian Dior have been promoting their fragrance, Miss Dior Cherie for a little while now. Not only do Dior have Oscar winner, Natalie Portman, heading their campaign, but the label even has special packaging for the perfume samples down to a fine art.

Cherie samples can be found in magazines designed as an inviation with a bow - how cute is that?

You can always depend on Dior to keep pushing the bar on presentation.

New Fash Obession: Anna Dello Russo

Anna Dello Russo
Every so often a fully fledged fashionista catches my eye to point all I can do is google, google and google the person in between 'breaks' at work. It would seem that my new Fash Obsession is none other than Anna Dello Russo, Editor at Large for Vogue Japan. Anna is good friends with Kanye West, she never repeats her clothes and it would seem the wackier the garment the better - when it comes to this "fashion maniac" her passion for fashion knows no boundaries.

Take a look at Anna's shoot for Net - A- Porter Magazine.

Haute Creations a la Krystle

Everyone's got clothes in their cupboard that need alittle sprucing up - this is certainly the case for me. So every couple of weeks I'm going to debut clothes which I've either embellished or created from scratch.

I bought two metres of this multi toned chained and sowed it onto the neck and back line of a black vest and here it is:

Tell me what you think? But remember I'm not made of stone! lol

Rihanna Channels Her Inner Mermaid For Vogue

Rihanna on American Vogue

Ms Ri Ri will be sporting the April '11 cover of American Vogue looking like a Mermaid, and donning her camera ready, loosely wavy red hair.

Professionally speaking, the dress is a Chanel’s pre-fall 2011 collection. This is sure to get tongues wagging in a way only Rihanna seems to know how these days.

Louis Vuitton Catwalk : Kate or Naomi?

Supermodels Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell at Louis Vuitton Show

Everyone is talking about Kate Moss' return to the catwalk after 3 years, with her cigarette in her hand on NON -SMOKING DAY.

I have to admitt, Kate never does things by half, and she looked incredibly toned strutting her stuff, but what about Naomi? Naomi was there too and the press haven't seemed to bat an eyelid.

So I have to ask the question - on garments alone -who looked the best when Super met Super?
After my rant, i think Kate! lol

Sandles In March? Really?

Sandles in March? In the UK?

I was on the tube this morning and I saw a girl sporting sum sandles. Fully open toe, flat, T -bar sandles...now? really?

Even I'm itching and scratching to wear my colourful sandles with my fresh mani, but cor blimey it's still cold out here. The sunshine is out but the sun is not home, we can't rush these things at all!

On a night out in the evening with a car as your support system - OK! Hot footing the streets in London in open toe in March is a NO from me.

Am I being too harsh here?

Prada's Spongey Brogue

I saw this 'shoe' today and it made me squint...

Above is Muiccia Prada (designer of Prada and Miu Miu) most talked about shoes of the season. It's a mix of a brogue and and espadrille? Yes, it sounds like a joke, but that's the design.

The buying manager for Selfridges said that the customers are 'embracing them' and described the shoes as 'directional but wearable.' Well, at £510 it would be nice it was wearable.

I am trying to get into new things - going for the obvious is really starting to bore me, but I am not sure if I could really rock these with a smile.

What do you think? And what would you team them with?
